Sentara Health is recruiting a Vice President, Contract Lifecycle Management to work in Virginia! Vice President, Contract Lifecycle Management will be a subject matter expert in developing and managing contract life cycle management on an enterprise-wide basis. Systems level thinker, consensus builder, change agent and collaborator to push contract management forward in a matrixed structure. Sets strategic goals for team while leading the CLM operations across Sentara. Maximizes the functionality of the company’s adopted CLM tool. Understands contracting process and contract compliance best practices and drives the organization to implement said processes and practices. Adheres to all federal, state, and local business laws and regulations and company policies.

  • Leads the effort in creating and maintaining an enterprise-wide database of contracts and contract templates, such as non-disclosures, non-competes, release forms, partnership agreements, purchase orders, employment contracts, and independent contractor agreements and a database of contract terms and conditions that can be used in negotiations with third parties in crafting intra-system agreements.
  • Mitigates common contract management risks, such as financial, legal and security risks throughout the company.
  • Develops standard processes to answer questions posed by contract requesters and signors throughout the company. Provides guidance on the development of reports, processes, and other means to track important contract attributes across Sentara Health.
  • Partners with director and above leaders within the company to ensure that the contract lifecycle management process is efficient, effective and is widely utilized.
  • Leads continuous improvement around the CLM function and related processes, standards, and guidance throughout Sentara.

  • MBA or Masters Degree in related field preferred.
  • Proven project and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills.
