VP Business Development - Personal Health & Safety

Job Summary

The VP Business Development will be a key member of the Freeus Senior Leadership Team and will participate in company goal setting, strategy planning, and culture definition. The VP Business Development will be individually responsible for finding new opportunities, defining new business development channels, and building relationships. Responsible for exemplifying excellent customer service and the Company core values, culture, policy, and procedures at all times.

The VP Business Development is responsible for building relationships with VA hospital and medical facilities across the United States with the goal of receiving referrals for Medical Alert services. In addition, the VP Business Development will ensure that the process that supports ordering and fulfillment of Medical Alert devices is completed appropriately and to the satisfaction of VA referral sources. The VP Business Development will work closely with the Honor Alert department to ensure smooth and prompt onboarding of new accounts. Responsible for exemplifying excellent customer service and the Company core values, culture, policy and procedures at all times.

Essential Job Functions

  • Cold call VA medical centers in an effort to determine key decision makers
  • Set appointments and in-services’ with key decision makers
  • Manage a small team
  • Register Honor Alert as vendor with each VA
  • Assume responsibility for the accurate and efficient performance of assigned accounts
  • Plan and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue, increase profitability, and market share in new and otherwise undefined channels
  • Partner with necessary departments to ensure successful onboarding of new accounts
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations
  • Conduct client needs assessment to determine long-term strategy and short-term plans
  • Forge and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to build lasting relationships
  • Assume responsibility for the accurate and efficient performance of assigned accounts
  • Maintain professionalism, security, and integrity to ourselves, co-workers, and customers
