This position is responsible for the creative development, pre-production coordination, production, and editing of a variety of marketing and communications video assets for distribution across all channels and divisions. Responsible for meeting project delivery dates according to assigned schedules, and preparing final video assets according to specifications.


Major responsibilities of the position are listed below.

  • Act as a producer/director/editor who can take an idea from script to screen, quickly producing content that meets established brand standards and digital channel specifications.
  • Partner with the Executive Creative Director, CD, art directors, and team members to understand business needs and marketing requirements in the production and postproduction of video content.
  • Positively interact with other department leads to elevate CSD internal communication and reputation. Be flexible and cool under pressure.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to concept and create content that can be leveraged across multiple campaigns and channels.
  • Pitch creative ideas that map back to strategic insights and brand goals and defend those ideas to the team.
  • Produce fresh, high quality video content that ensures the department's creative direction is consistent and brand-based.
  • Manage and guide freelancers to deliver according to specifications, brand needs, and goals.
  • Act as Director of Photography, being confident in setting up lights and operating camera(s) and audio for product videos, mini-docs and interviews.
  • Act as lead motion graphics designer and video editor.
  • Edit videos to meet established brand standards and digital channel specifications.
  • Mix audio to industry standards.
  • Digital Image Technician (DIT)
  • Media Server Archive Manager
  • Managing projects and ticket requests and updating project management software to track deliverables.
  • Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • At least 6 years of commercial video production or post-production experience.
  • Degree in Film, Video Production, or related field.
  • Varied body of published work for brands; not spec/portfolio work.
  • Mac OS Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Affects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Working knowledge of higher end cinema cameras and lenses.
  • Drone operating experience.
  • Camera stabilization experience (Easy Rig and Gyro Stabilizers)
  • Fluent in Microsoft 360, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with prioritizing and maintaining a multi-project schedule.
