Job Description
Us Weekly is searching for a Video Editor to join their growing video team. The video editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging video content for digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging video content for our various digital platforms, including website and social media.
Collaborate with writers, producers, and social media team to develop video concepts and storylines.
Utilize editing software to creatively assemble clips, graphics, music, and sound effects.
Ensure all videos meet brand voice and visual style guidelines.
Work effectively under tight deadlines and be adaptable to fast-paced environment.
Stay up-to-date on the latest video editing trends and techniques.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a video editor.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Excellent understanding of video editing principles, including storytelling, pacing, and shot selection.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Familiarity with celebrity news, pop culture, and social media is a plus.
