Supply Chain Visionary: Lead the Charge at a Thriving Manufacturer


Do you crave the challenge of shaping a high-impact supply chain strategy for a company on the rise?


We're seeking a visionary VP of Supply Chain to lead the charge from our Dallas/Desoto, TX production and distribution facility. As a key member of our executive team, you'll play a pivotal role in propelling our growth across North America.


The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the COO, you'll become the mastermind behind our entire supply chain. This encompasses strategic planning, procurement, warehouse operations, distribution, and logistics across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities:


Procurement

  • Commodity strategies
  • Long Term Contract Negotiation
  • Supplier Rationalization (Single source, dual source, key partnerships)
  • Vendor Managed Inventory
  • PPV negotiation Developing Tactical (Buyer planner) and Strategic (Commodity Manager)
  • Organization Managed Spend of $100M
  • Demonstrated History of Spend reductions
  • Reduced supply base to develop strategic alliances
  • Demonstrated History of improving OTD, reducing production material stockouts


Sales Inventory/ Operations Planning

  • Has run SIOP or at least the "Operations" and Supply Review


Inventory & Distribution Planning

  • Has developed raw material and finished goods inventory strategy
  • Has history of reducing inventory levels while meeting service expectations
  • Has maintained inventory accuracy level in 98% plus
  • Has experience doing finished goods deployment strategy (DRP)


Logistics

  • Has run warehouse, shipping, receiving, and managed transportation


Six Sigma

  • Greenbelt or Blackbelt certified
  • Has used fishbone for RCCA
  • Has used "process mapping" for process improvements
  • Has led kaizan events


ERP

  • Has operated in and SAP or Oracle environment
  • Understands demand/supply alignment in ERP
  • Understands make vs buy signals in ERP
  • Master managed BOM and Master Data in ERP


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
  • 15+ years of supply chain experience, with at least 6 years leading purchasing, distribution, warehousing, and logistics in a $100M+ industrial setting.
  • Proven track record of leading and contributing to strategic planning and process improvements at the executive level.
  • Willingness to travel 20%.
