Position Summary:

The VP of Sales is primarily responsible for generating and managing new business opportunities for the company. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to lead generation of prospective clients, managing and pursuing sales opportunities, and leading the onboarding of new clients. This role will require out-of-state travel, as well as attendance at a variety of local events.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Identifying and vetting potential clients

·        Signing potential clients that have been vetted, using DocuSign, and transitioning signed clients to internal stakeholders

·        Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections

·        Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels

·        Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships

·        Cold Calling and Email Lead Generation of prospective clients

·        Working with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies

·        Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences; up to 25% of travel will be required

·        Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings

·        Tracking sales pipeline and providing opportunity/sales reporting to management

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Prior business development experience in the following areas: Commercial or Retail Collections, Equipment Finance, Asset Management, Commercial Lending/Financing, or Call Center Operations.
