Salary: $165,000 - $197,000, with bonus and benefits

Position Summary We are looking for an accomplished Vice President of Information Security to guide our client's cybersecurity strategy and operations. The role involves the creation and enforcement of a comprehensive cybersecurity framework that aligns with business goals and adheres to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in high-pressure environments and the ability to build and manage top-notch security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a robust cybersecurity strategy.
• Oversee product and enterprise security to protect customer data and corporate assets.
• Implement governance, risk management, and compliance programs.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2/3, State/Federal RAMP, and other relevant regulations.
• Establish security policies and procedures for security operations and data protection.
• Design a security architecture covering network security, application security, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
• Manage relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure third-party security.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing security team.

Key Competencies

• Develop a cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Lead and coordinate the response to cybersecurity incidents.
• Implement a security awareness program to promote a strong cybersecurity culture.
• Evaluate third-party vendors to minimize security risks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 15 years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience scaling security programs in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups or tech companies.
• Strong operational risk management experience, especially in the financial sector.
• Success in building mature security functions in global organizations.
