Michael Todd Beauty has become the “Go To” brand in the professional grade beauty tools category in the prestige and mass market with sister brand Spa Sciences.  


Functioning as a Retailer, Wholesaler and Manufacturer of high-quality consumer products and we are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Global Sales for our two in-house brands.  


The Vice President of Sales will be tasked with building and growing our retail and wholesale channels. This individual will be responsible for the growth of the business with a consumer-centric, hands-on approach.


Qualified candidates must have experience developing key account planning and strategies needed for success and maximizing key consumer centric KPIs including traffic, conversion and revenue; with strengths in merchandising, sales forecasting and driving retailer.com. Work cross functionally with Marketing and Operations to deliver optimal results and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.


This role will require a balance of strategic thinking, communication skills and relationship management as it will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer knowledge and insight and constant interaction to coordinate work and deliver objectives.


FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Develop the strategy to deliver growth. Drive the success of the Retail/Wholesale channels through forecasting, budgeting, key account planning, P&L accountability, brand execution at POS and online (retailer.com).

·        Develop, measure and track KPIs for success across the organization. Help determine the levers to improve the business.

·        Continually analyze and recommend tactics to drive top-line growth and profitability for channels.

·        Be the brand expert related to retail strategies and industry benchmarks.

·        Develop detailed forecasts to align with supply chain and operations to allow for optimal planning.

·        Effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans.

·        Focus on quality and understanding of consumer behaviors.

·        Negotiate agreements and build vendor relationships

·        Develop a profitable business model for the retail/wholesale channels

·        Have relationships with current beauty retailers/wholesale/distributors


WHAT YOU NEED:

·        5+ years working in Sales roles preferably from a well-recognized high growth, CPG/beauty/luxury/lifestyle service organizations (REQUIRED)

·        Minimum of 5 years leading successful teams

·        Provides creative solutions generating value, promotes team creativity and utilizes data to draw new insights.

·        Driven and impactful leader with demonstrated ability to motivate

·        Effective communicator both written and verbal.

·        Builds strong relationships externally and internally.

·        Manages complexity.

·        Strong time management and organizational skills.

·        Takes initiative to solve problems and results oriented with focus on continuous improvement.
