Vice President of Business Operations

LifeStation, a healthcare technology company that is a leading national provider of medical alert services, is seeking a VP of Operations. You will oversee the service delivery functions of the company, ensuring that it is managed and performing effectively and efficiently. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop, implement and maintain procedures and standards across the organization.

The ideal candidate for this job is an expert with both people and process and understands intuitively how to impact change while promoting the cultural values of the organization. The VP of Operations is a member of the senior leadership team and is crucial to LifeStation’s ambition to sustain our rapid growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the operations for multiple departments, including procurement, order processing, order fulfillment, logistics/reverse logistics, and customer field installation.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of your service areas. Oversee the development and submission of capital and operating budgets and manage to them
  • Own all KPI’s related to departmental performance
  • Own relationships with third party partners and be accountable for associated delivery outcomes of the third-party partners
  • Build strategic relationships with key departments. Function as liaison, resource, and thought leader to other divisions and departments
  • Identify and evangelize process improvements that will help the teams reach their business goals and blaze new trails within the organization
  • Optimize, expand, and integrate the technology required to support the operations of the business

What You Need For This Role

  • 15+ years’ experience
  • Must have experience hiring, firing and onboarding positions from senior managers to entry-level hourly employees
  • Must be a technology evangelist, with a solid background in the use of software tools to solve problems and improve processes
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, in person and on the phone
  • High EQ and team leadership skills
  • MBA preferred but not required.
  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
  • Must have the ability to see the big picture and understand how small changes and improvements can have a large impact
