We are seeking a VP, Marketing to join our team at De'Longhi North America. This individual will lead marketing efforts for the company by providing strategic direction, leading consumer insights work, and leading all communications to include media, brand, and channel marketing. This role will be a member of the North American senior leadership team, reporting directly to the President, De’Longhi America.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strategic marketing plan for the North American De’Longhi Group brands (De’Longhi, Kenwood, Braun)
  • Lead, plan, and execute driving consumer insights and their cohesive deployment through the organization. Integrate consumer insights to help drive product development by working with the local and corporate product development teams
  • Lead all communication efforts for the Company to include media, public relations, digital, in store, trade shows, etc
  • Lead the internal teams and external resources (i.e. agencies) associated with marketing communications, consumer insights & creative
  • Work closely to integrate plans with the category teams for all brands
  • Develop processes that create consistency across the categories and brands on marketing and consumer insight approaches
  • Work closely with the corporate teams in Italy, UK and Germany
  • Work closely with the De’Longhi direct to consumer business to create effective digital marketing plans to include social media plans
  • Effective and proactive management of the marketing budget
  • Create and review marketing presentations provided for sales support


Requirements:

  • 15+ years broad marketing experience
  • BA degree in marketing, business administration, or other relevant areas
  • MBA a plus
  • Prior experience in luxury, premium, or durable goods
  • Strong marketing experience developing successful marketing and advertising campaigns for premium brands and products, full cycle planning and execution
  • Experience individually developing a campaign from beginning to end
  • Experience partnering with retailers on marketing campaigns
  • Digital marketing experience including social media, partnerships, brand awareness, and search
  • A creative marketer who has many ideas and can organize them into cohesive plans
  • An entrepreneur, must truly love the ambiguity, excitement and fast pace of a mid-size company environment
  • RFP experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable with presenting at all levels of the organization including executive leadership teams in Global HQ
  • A strong and positive communicator that can inspire the team, management, and colleagues in the corporate office to support the local plan and initiatives
  • Must have managed both an internal team and external agencies for campaigns and creative
  • A collaborative team player
  • Must have experience developing plans that leverage consumer insights and have led the approach and mining of the insights
  • 30% Travel Required
