Vice President, Integrated Marketing

Our client is a major player in the health and wellness category and their mission is to empower individuals to achieve their health and fitness goals through cutting-edge products. They are currently in an exciting and highly transformational phase as a business as they are evolving their brand, marketing and sales channels. They are currently looking for an accomplished marketing leader to join their team and play a pivotal role in this transformation. The right candidate for the job has proven experience CPG marketing marketing across wholesale, eCommerce and DTC channels in the vitamins and supplements or food and beverage.


This role is only open to candidates located within 100 miles of the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.


Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop a marketing strategy, in collaboration with sales, for brick and mortar channels to drive product trial and loyalty
  • Partners with the VP of Sales on pricing strategy, based on competitive analysis, market trends, etc.
  • Implement the organization’s strategic marketing plan to achieve business objectives, revenue targets, market expansion, brand awareness, and overall company growth
  • Drive straight-line financial results through new customer acquisition and customer retention through integrated, omnichannel marketing strategies
  • Provide oversight of and monitor and evaluate R&D performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes and improve efficiency
  • Work with the Director of R&D to develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality to ensure products align to integrated brand and marketing strategy
  • Lead, oversee, and integrate the Brand and Product Marketing, Creative, and Digital Marketing verticals while optimizing cross-departmental processes
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, events, and traditional advertising, to generate new customers, drive brand and product awareness
  • Establish and oversee strategic promotional and advertising plans across the entire marketing funnel, based on company goals that promote revenue growth, brand lift, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and oversee brand standards and management of the brand, ensuring consistency in production, messaging, tone of voice, positioning, and visual identity across all sales and marketing channels
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing activities, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports and analysis to senior management
  • Lead the overall strategies and integration of product and brand marketing activities
  • Develop and optimize the organization’s long- and short-term marketing goals and strategic
  • direction, meeting market demands and delivering consistent sales and profitability in alignment with organizational goals
  • Establish and manage the marketing budget as it relates to staffing, professional development, product development, new product introduction, product redesign, promotional activities, and all marketing activities and initiatives
  • Communicate cross-functionally with other departments regarding new product launches, product designs and re-designs, incentives, and all other relevant marketing activities and information (R&D, Legal, Sales, Supply Chain, Distribution, Accounting, and IT)
  • Develop and execute strategic promotional and advertising plans across the entire marketing funnel, based on company goals that promote revenue growth, brand lift, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all marketing projects are completed in an effective, efficient manner, able to turn

around work in a timely fashion and able to meet deadlines

  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention across brick-and-mortar and E-Commerce marketing channels
  • Responsible for the selection and management of vendors and measurement against KPIs


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 15+ years of Marketing experience, primarily in the consumer product industry
  • Strategic thinker with broad functional experience spanning consumer insights, brand strategy and marketing, product marketing, strategic planning, portfolio management, promotion, digital and social marketing, public relations, and advertising
  • Deep experience in leading brand marketing and new product launches in a high-growth, multi-channel, multi-product, data-driven consumer products company
  • Experience with DTC, e-commerce and retail
  • CPG experience in the food and beverage industry; vitamins, minerals and supplements

  • Proven track record in marketing leadership at a high growth CPG company, launching new product lines at retail and DTC
  • Experience in developing strategic marketing plans, thereby setting direction for the entire marketing organization
  • Experience in new product development and launches
  • Experience in writing or reviewing printed material for marketing publications
  • Experience in package design, including the cost and flexibility of the packaging
  • Proven success in developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies
