Klaviyo is looking for a new Vice President, HRBPs to join the People team. This person will plan strategic HR initiatives and ensure alignment with the broader People Team strategy as well as the company’s ambitious business objectives, focusing on enhancing team performance and supporting employee development. This role is critical in building a workforce that is capable, motivated, and aligned with the organization’s long-term goals. They act as a strategic advisor to executive leaders, partnering directly with the President to drive strategic people initiatives across all levels in the GTM organization and ensuring that our People practices enhance employee engagement and drive organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Chief People Officer and executive leadership to define and implement HR strategies that align with Klaviyo’s vision and business goals.
  • Lead and develop the HR Business Partner team, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and exceptional stakeholder service.
  • Drive strategic workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives to ensure Klaviyo attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
  • Utilize data to derive insights on people trends to recommend, implement, and manage projects and programs, enhance organizational effectiveness through leading change management initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and agility.
  • Implement learning and development programs that align with the needs of the business and promote career growth for employees at all levels.
  • Advocate for and integrate Klaviyo’s core values and EDI initiatives throughout all HR practices and policies.
  • Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of people management, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, with 8 years in a leadership role overseeing HR Business Partners, SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
  • Extensive experience in high-growth, technology-focused environments, preferably in global companies. Proven track record in a public technology company, supporting a large-scale, global workforce.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead strategically, drive performance, and implement effective HR initiatives including programs that drive talent management and retention.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with senior leadership and across functional teams.
