Vice President, Consulting (Telecommunications)

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of management consultants in the development of client opportunities, RFP responses, and the successful delivery of consulting engagements in the rural broadband & telecom space.
• Provide strategic consulting services in the areas of corporate strategy, financial management, capital raising, business planning, etc.
• Continually examine trends across the telecom landscape, assessing implications on client operations, and recommend best practices ato fuel mutual growth.
• Serve in a player/coach capacity, responsible for your own revenue targets while also leading the consulting organization in exceeding set sales goals.

Qualifications

• MBA required
• 10+ years of strategy planning, management consulting, corporate development, and/or P/L management in the broadband technology industry.
• Ability to build and cultivate deep client relationships, perform consultative sales, and oversee delivery of work services to a client base in telecommunications.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including strengths in public speaking delivering presentations.
• Experience with rural telecommunications companies, rural broadband initiatives, or rural electric companies highly desired.
