UI Designer (Project Hire)

We are looking for a UI Designer that will help design all aspects of our game’s User Interface from design to visuals to optimized implementation. We are looking for a self-starter with attention to detail that can work cross-functionally with various stakeholders and supporting teams. Responsibilities:
TNM considers a number of factors when determining each role's base pay range, including industry benchmarks, location, experience, and other job specific skills. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other incentive compensation including equity and profit share. The estimated base pay range for this role is U.S. only and not applicable for locations outside of the U.S.
The estimated base pay range for this role is: $95,000 - $130,000.

We are looking for a UI Designer that will help design all aspects of our game’s User Interface from design to visuals to optimized implementation. - H e lp define the u sability of the UI including menus, iconography, backgrounds, typography and heads-up display.
- Collaborate with UI lead, game designers and engineers to understand and influence design requirements then translate those into wireframes and user flows .
- Create, integrate and optimize game-ready UI assets.
- Assist in UI asset management, ensuring the correct assets are being used in appropriate locations throughout the project.
- Manage and drive implementation of accessibility feature set.
- Parse playtest feedback and iterate on existing UI and UX flows.
- A deep understanding of design princip les including usability, color theory, layout, typography, motion and accessibility.
- UI Portfolio showing examples of work from at least one shipped video game title.
- Highly collaborative and communicative. Can easily talk with engineers, designers and artists.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role or relevant field.
- Experience creating wireframe prototypes, user flow, and game assets.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience using UI prototyping tools, Figma preferred.
- Technical competence with UI tools in game engines.
- A strong passion for narrative-driven entertainment.
- Approachable and respected member of the team.
- Maintain integrity and confidence while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight or direction.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
