Position Description

The Transition Manager will facilitate the transition of Application Maintenance and Application Functions from an existing team/vendor to the client company. They will be responsible for all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery of the transition within established timeframes and parameters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transition management, with a focus on Asset Management/Asset Disposal (AM/AD) transitions within a financial services environment.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with knowledge of various components impacting engagement profitability and how to manage and optimize costs.
• Experience with large-scale transitions affecting organizations with at least 8,000 employees and transition teams with at least 75 members.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end transition process for Asset Management/Asset Disposal (AM/AD) projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Develop and implement transition plans and strategies, methodologies, and best practices tailored to AM/AD transitions, addressing unique challenges and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, finance professionals, legal advisors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communication and presentation skills with high degree of comfort interfacing with senior leadership team and stakeholders.
