Transformation PM / Treasury and Trade

Company Overview:

Client is seeking Treasury and Trade Support- Transformation Project Management Specialists to place in long-term consulting roles with our client, a tier one wholesale bank headquartered in New York City, committed to driving innovation and excellence in capital markets.

Job Description:

You will play a crucial role in leading projects focused on cash management, payables/receivables, trade processing, clearance, settlement and custody, liquidity management, digital banking, and credit cards. Leveraging your deep experience in these areas and proven project management expertise, you will collaborate with stakeholders from Capital Markets, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal to achieve project objectives. This role requires strong data analysis and digitalization experience to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• projects focused on transforming treasury and trade support functions, including cash management, payables/receivables, trade processing, clearance, settlement and custody, liquidity management, digital banking, and credit cards.
• with project stakeholders representing Capital Markets, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal to ensure alignment and drive project success.
• strong data analysis skills to identify opportunities for process improvement and digitalization within treasury and trade support operations.
• and implement project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives.
• working group and steering committee meetings, utilizing strong verbal communication skills to lead discussions and drive consensus among stakeholders.
• comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization within treasury and trade support operations.
• with technology teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in treasury and trade support processes.
• project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders, providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution.

Qualifications:

• degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree
• of 3 years’ experience in finance and banking with top tier commercial banks, investment banks and/or Big 4 consulting firms
• experience in leading projects related to cash management, payables/receivables, trade processing, clearance, settlement and custody, liquidity management, digital banking, and credit cards.
• leading project stakeholders from diverse functional areas.
• data analysis and digitalization experience, with the ability to leverage data to drive business insights and process improvements.
• verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead working group and steering committee meetings.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project), JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Data Analytics and Visualization tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
