NETCON is a Consulting and engineering company founded in 1995 in Brazil, with operations throughout NAM and LATAM. NETCON is recognized for its modern networks for voice, data, and image communications services and supports mobility, CoS and QoS, smart grid and smart city applications, Unified Communications (UC), and real-time mission-critical applications, among others.

We are looking for professionals with good network protocols and architectures knowledge and good communication skills to interact with customers.

  • What You’ll Do
  • interact with all levels of technical and business organizational hierarchy and manage external vendors to facilitate the delivery of a consistent, reliable telecom platform.
  • This is a hands-on position with support responsibilities that participates in the overall strategic direction of our telecommunications department.
  • Install and test software systems for telecom inventory management.
  • Supports planning, designing, implementing, and managing projects such as system upgrades, system conversions, and new products and services.
  • Assists with the planning, designing, and implementing tools, utilities, monitoring, and documentation of the telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Understand customer requirements and configure and customize the software platforms
  • Creates and maintains system documentation, including system requirements, design, implementation plans, project financials, and infrastructure standards
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot router setup and configuration
  • Take remedial activities to guarantee a solid and steady stage over our undertaking
  • Ability to participate in multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations affecting the Company
  • Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance, and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by the Company
  • Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required

What You Bring

  • Expert level knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and software tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Wide Area Network ( WAN) Design and Implementation
  • Project Management Skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus
  • Knowledge of Eris, Mapinfo, and GIS is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
