Seeking a qualified Technical Writer for Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA). Candidates will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into easily understandable content for Department of Defense and Commercial customers of KHA.

Responsibilities:

• Create and updatetechnicaldocumentation, including user manuals, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, training Program/Syllabus of Instructions, and specifications for aerospace systems, components, and equipment.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts within the company to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness oftechnicalcontent.
• Organize and structure complextechnicalinformation into clear, concise, and user-friendly formats that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Research and analyzetechnicaldata, specifications, and engineering drawings to gather information for documentation production.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to company guidelines, style guides, and document templates.
• Revise and edit existingtechnicaldocumentation to improve clarity, eliminate errors, and incorporate updates.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to gather information and validatetechnicalcontent.
• Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end-users to continuously improve the quality and usability oftechnicaldocumentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the aerospace field.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such astechnicalwriting, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complextechnicalconcepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
• Proficiency in using document authoring and publishing tools, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or XML-based systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and best practices related totechnicaldocumentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of aerospace systems, including aircraft, spacecraft, or related components, is highly desirable.
• Experience intechnicalwriting or documentation production, preferably in the aerospace or a closely related industry.
