About the Position:

We, at RBG, are looking for a true teammate. Someone who strives to embody our core values, who appreciates their teammates, and who works diligently to help. The Tax Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative support to the firm’s tax department.


Duties & Responsibilities

• Process all tax returns

• Prepare and send tax returns via secure electronic mail as requested by partners and staff

• Prepare working files for all new clients

• Scan and file broker statements

• Process and scan payroll tax returns

• Scan and file transmittal and extension information

• Assist Tax Administrator with annual department projects

• Order and send back files from offsite storage as needed

• Complete and submit all certified mail for the department and maintain tracking log

• Handle administrative requests and queries from leadership

• Participate in team meetings and collaborate on projects and/or initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, administrative tasks such as scanning, processing mail, and answering phones for the office.


Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of two years’ administrative tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems & Microsoft Office Suite

• Highly service-oriented

• Ability to learn workflow, data management and other industry-specific software

• Team player and collaborative

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Capacity to work overtime as required

• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively handle stressful situations

• Ability to multi-task and quickly switch priorities when necessary

• Must be organized and efficient

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and data security
