Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recruitment process, including receiving and reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and supporting the overall talent acquisition efforts of the organization. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout the hiring process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Talent Sourcing:
    • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and attract high-quality candidates.
    • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles and future hiring needs.
    • Implement creative sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates and build relationships for future opportunities.
  • Application Management:
    • Maintain up-to-date career site and job board postings.
    • Receive and review incoming job applications through various channels, such as email, applicant tracking systems, and job boards.
    • Screen resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for open positions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
  • Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panel members.
    • Communicate with candidates to provide interview details, confirm availability, and address any logistical or scheduling issues.
    • Prepare interview materials, such as interview guides, assessment tools, and feedback forms.
  • Candidate Communication and Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely and professional communication.
    • Respond to candidate inquiries, provide updates on application status, and address any concerns or questions.
    • Deliver a positive candidate experience by ensuring candidates are informed, supported, and treated with respect and fairness.
    • Manage candidate engagement and feedback through external channels, such as Glassdoor and Indeed.
    • Champion the Employer Brand and the online presence
  • Collaborative Partnership:
    • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles.
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to gather feedback on candidates and facilitate the decision-making process.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment on recruitment activities.
  • Special Projects & Process Improvement:
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of Talent Acquisition special projects
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the talent acquisition function and suggest enhancements to streamline workflows.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and optimization of recruitment processes.


Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other HR software tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (we currently use Jobvite)
  • Google Suite, Slack, and database data entry skills


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or HR administration is highly desirable.
