Talent Acquisition Specialist - Hybrid

This is a contingent (contractor) position - Duration 1 year+

Workstyle: Hybrid (2-3 days a week at Honda Heritage Center in Marysville, OH )


As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent for our professional positions. You will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting, developing effective sourcing strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to both candidates and hiring managers. Responsibilities could align with either local, regional or North American recruiting strategies and initiatives.


This position is responsible for the overall recruiting and hiring process for mid-level to senior level roles and managing up to 35 requisitions.


What You Will Do:


Full Lifecycle Recruiting:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process for engineering, information security, and systems positions, from job requisition to candidate onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates to identify those who best match the technical and cultural needs of the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and potential cultural fit.

Sourcing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent.
  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for recurring and critical positions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment trends and technologies to continuously improve sourcing methods.

Customer Service Focus:

  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their specific technical hiring needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Filling Open Technical Positions:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define candidate requirements and hiring timelines.
  • Present well-qualified candidates to hiring managers, highlighting their technical capabilities and alignment with the organization's values.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules and facilitate the decision-making process.
  • Negotiate job offers and support successful candidates through the onboarding process.


What You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Full Lifecycle Recruiting
  • Strong understanding of full lifecycle recruiting and hiring processes.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' of experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industry


Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on candidate and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts and terminology to effectively assess candidates' technical skills and experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple technical positions simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
