Salary Range:$202,500.00 To 225,000.00 Annually


This is a remote position.


For over 88 years, we have worked to create trusting relationships with our fire family. The bonds we build are the foundation of our credit union. As the largest, exclusive firefighter credit union in the nation with $2.0B in assets, we serve over 64,000 thousand members in more than 1,000 fire departments.



Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Senior Vice President, Wealth Product Management to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Vice President, Wealth Product Management is responsible for developing and executing the strategic initiatives for the Credit Union’s tax, wealth management, trust, and insurance services.



Primary Responsibilities:


  • Establishing and leading the strategy, direction, objectives, and operations for the Credit Union’s ancillary services: tax services, wealth/financial management, trust services, and insurance.
  • Leading ongoing innovation and continuous improvement of processes, products, and member service delivery channels.
  • Managing overall operations and taking accountability for decisions affecting all ancillary services.
  • Driving the development of the strategic plan for the organization, and the detailed current year operating plan, while adhering to the direction set by the President/CEO and Board of Directors as defined in the credit union’s business plan.
  • Ensuring that the appropriate metrics are in place to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals.
  • Acting as key advisor to business units on critical changes in the competitive landscape and external business environment.



Leadership Responsibilities:


  • Regularly meeting with each team member to coach and mentor to ensure alignment around FFCU’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Providing team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs.
  • Holding teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements, ensuring the team’s work is accurate/efficient, and providing coaching, feedback, or training as needed.
  • Providing and ensuring development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union.
  • Leading change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels.
  • Assisting the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization


Basic Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience at a financial institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an executive role.
