Summer Program Instructor--Towson

Trellis Services is currently hiring Instructors to work in our Summer Program.

In this role, you will work in a 11 or 31 ratio with children between the ages of 8-21 diagnosed with autism. You will assist the child with arts/crafts, play games/puzzles and go on community outings. The Program is open Monday through Friday 900am-400pm in June and August and 1200pm-600pm in July. The Program is located in Towson--right off 695. This position is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Flexible hours, great pay ($18/hr) and participation in our 401K plan! Great entry level positon and resume builder for someone looking to start their career in Special Education!

As a Trellis autism instructor, you will work under the supervision of one of our experienced Case Managers and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• The ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance
  
  
  

Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
