Yazaki Innovations. Inc (YII) is looking for a Summer Intern to join our Product Management team within Engineering and Technology team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. Remote work model with some potential travel.
What You Will Be Doing
- Master key product management techniques and assist in developing product requirement documents under the mentorship of Senior Product Managers.
- Supporting Senior Product Management in identifying customer needs and while considering the larger business objectives that a product or feature aims to meet.
- Take the lead (Design, develop, and execute) on a strategic industry analysis project, exploring new market opportunities for YII products.
- Gain comprehensive exposure by shadowing an experienced product management team throughout the product lifecycle.
- Acquire hands-on expertise in utilizing advanced product management tools and methodologies to successfully launch and manage products.
- Produce a detailed Industry Analysis report and deliver a professional presentation, equipped with supporting materials to stakeholders.
- Enrollment in a 2-year MBA degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship
- Completion of sophomore year with some Product or Strategy (or related) courses under the belt. A background in related engineering or automotive industry would be helpful but not required.
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours a week
- Advanced proficiency in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to create and manipulate spreadsheets and presentations
- Excellent creativity, initiative, diligence, and accuracy
