Responsibilities are basic and routine in nature. This may include performing administrative duties in an office, assisting in a research laboratory, aid faculty/staff in supporting academic programs or patient care. Duties will be clear and direct. The Student Assistant will require excellent customer service and strong organizational skills and will represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.

Additional Information

The College of Dentistry is searching for a Student Assistant to provide administrative support and assistance to the Office of the Dean's staff. Greets visitors; supply ordering; maintains front desk area; files and/or sorts and distributes mail; assembles mass mailings; copies and scans materials performs data entry and prepares data for analysis; runs errands; other duties as assigned.

HS grad or equivalent; currently enrolled as an OSU student; accurate and efficient keyboarding skills; ability to work with common office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite; interpersonal and communication skills; customer service orientation.

10-15 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 3 days/week between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Consistent set schedule is expected but days/hours are negotiable around class/exams schedule.

Must be available to work through the summer.
