The Sr. Vice President of Retail & Sales will be responsible for directing, implementing, and overseeing all Retail Sales and Services at Heritage Federal Credit Union, including mortgage, consumer, in-direct auto, small business, and investments.

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

The Senior Vice President of Retail will lead the retail team, ensuring all retail goals and objectives are met by:

• Developing and leading sales to exceed goals and expectations through products and services such as, consumer loans, deposits, mortgages, small businesses, and investments.
• Analyzing sales and growth trends by recognizing and developing new ways to capture and grow production and membership growth.
• Partnering with lines of business such as Marketing and Decision Support to ensure consistent review of current data and planning future growth efforts.
• Leveraging an understanding of business and financial principles and a working knowledge of key business drivers.
• Conducting recurring coaching sessions for both performance and career development.
• Communicating and coach company initiatives to generate team understanding and connect to the Credit Union's culture and values.
• Creating a sales framework to guide process and achieve sales goals.
• Motivating and mentoring Reginal Sales Managers and team members to sell products and services to establish profitable member relationships.
• Ensuring branch efficiency related to schedules, staffing levels, and performance of the retail team.
• Participate in a variety of staff and operational meetings to support the credit union’s objectives as directed.
• Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience (10+ years) preferably in a sales role at a financial institution

Required Knowledge:

• Thorough knowledge of credit union branch operations including all products and services and applicable policies and standard operating procedures.
• Functional knowledge and service experience with leading technologies used in the Credit Union industry as a delivery channel (i.e. WebEx, mobile banking, online banking, remote deposit capture, bill pay, etc…)
• Detailed understanding of financial statements, branch profitability, data analysis, budget preparation and management
• Knowlege of Financial Institution rules and regulations
  
  
  

Experience Required:

• At least ten years of progressive experience in sales, lending and deposit related positions as they relate to retail branch management.
• Branch operations supervisory or manager experience
• Comprehensive understanding and successful experience in vendor management and vendor due diligence
