As a Sr. Manager supporting Leadership Development Programs, you will be trusted to work on designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive leadership programs that align with Alcon’s strategic goals from Fort Worth, TX. This role will focus on developing leadership skills at all levels of the organization to cultivate a pipeline of capable leaders who can drive the company's success and sustain its competitive edge. On a regular basis, you will collaborate with executive leaders, senior leaders and the HR community to design and deliver curriculum and experiences, as well as advocate for Alcon's Values & Behaviors.


In this role, a typical day will include:


  • Support the development and execution of a strategic vision for leadership development programs that supports the growth and retention of high-potential associates, and align to strategic priorities and capabilities
  • Design and deliver innovative training programs, workshops, and seminars tailored to various levels of leadership within the organization: includes collaborating to define strategy for delivering of programs & upskilling facilitators, as needed
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify development needs across the organization; measure the impact of leadership development initiatives through performance metrics and Return on Investment analysis; use data and feedback to continuously improve and adapt leadership programs
  • Partner with senior executives, HR, and department heads to identify leadership development priorities and customize programs accordingly.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and innovations in leadership development and incorporate best practices into program design; where applicable, collaborate with external vendors and consultants to bring innovative leadership training and development practices to the organization
  • Ensure all leadership programs align with relevant regulations and industry best practices, as well as aligned with the company's strategic objectives and leadership competencies


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in building innovative programs and experiences to support building strong talent at all levels of the organization
  • Learning agility to acquire/apply new practices and information in a constantly changing environment.
  • Experience developing and building programs in a Center of Excellence (COE) supporting a global organization
  • Robust facilitation, coaching and consulting skills; experiencing using multiple modalities in training and programs
  • Practice leading large-scale, global organization-wide projects and changes, including experience partnering with leaders
  • Using data to demonstrate the effectiveness of experience and programs
