YOUR IMPACT

The Senior Ops & Development Director will be instrumental in turbo charging Wingstop’s next phase of growth on our journey to becoming a Top 10 Global Restaurant Brand. A key decision maker, defining, shaping, and executing the growth path for the Americas region as we strive towards the international mission of growing 10X.



Key areas of focus for this role will include: best-in-class operational excellence, successful restaurant growth in existing markets, exceeding development targets, new market entry, optimizing store design, pipeline management, new market entry, equipment innovation & cost optimization driving value to our Brand Partners (via franchisee network). You should be focused on increasing profitability whilst growing a visionary brand across Canada and Latin American markets. A great candidate for this role will not only provide deep operations and broad business support but also make sure we meet or exceed revenue and development targets.



You will have a global mindset and must be a collaborative and energetic relationship builder with a strategic mindset but a passion for detail and execution.



In essence, you will play a critical role defining and driving the business and brand expansion of Wingstop across the Americas region.



The individual must be proficient in both English and Spanish.



WHAT YOU`LL DO


  • Develop and implement plans to grow market share and increase revenues and profitability in a sustainable manner.
  • Lead and inspire an expanding team of Operations, New Market Entry and Real Estate managers. Provide enriching development opportunities for the team allowing the business to exceed its goals and the individual to grow.
  • Develop, lead, and provide expertise to the full network of restaurants, in the areas of operations, compliance, brand management, training, sourcing, real estate development, and franchising. Work with other parts of the business / stakeholders to deliver concept design, new product development, and culinary and business insights.
  • Create simplicity from complexity; remove blocks and barriers from the organization. Oversee the development (and constant evolution) of standards and tools that are executed in the region. Set appropriate metrics and measure and communicate results.
  • Deep dive into all operational metrics and identify business opportunities.
  • Manage a wide range of regional issues with our Brand Partners identifying the root causes and finding creative solutions.
  • Alongside Managing Director ensure 2024 business plan is delivered with a special emphasis on Net New Unit pipeline delivery.
  • Support funnel filling of new Brand Partner opportunities. Support the Managing Director and Global Business Director in selling in the Wingstop commercial opportunity to potential partners.
  • Ensure hugely impactful and successful New Market Openings within the region and across the international business. Collective success is fundamental to Wingstop’s growth plans.
  • Become the Number 2. to the Managing Director and work towards becoming successor to this role.
