GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Director is responsible for the Pearle Vision Wholesale business. A leader in this role must be high-touch, commercial minded and service-oriented, always putting our Franchisee front and center, while driving sales and operational excellence. This role will oversee strategic initiatives that enhance products and services delivered, driving Franchisee satisfaction and profitability. This commercial leader will own the Wholesale P&L and should have proven success driving revenue and growing profit.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

Wholesale Growth

  • Understand business capabilities, strategic and operational aspects, competitive landscape, and trends.
  • Drive the business by analyzing insights, optimizing processes, and delivering creative solutions to increase sales and profitability.
  • Act as key commercial lead in the development of annual budget process and 3-year plan.
  • Plan with leadership team to drive synergistic brand strategies, programs, and commercial initiatives.

Franchise Services

  • Forge strong relationships with Franchisees to foster collaboration, build trust, and identify collective opportunities for growth.
  • Continually assess service levels and develop initiatives to improve Franchisee satisfaction.
  • Responsible for providing leadership, strategy, and ensuring successful operational execution of all activities leading to the timely and compliant delivery of goods and services.

Product Commercialization

  • Build, implement, and refine product initiatives to drive wholesale growth for Pearle Vision and profitability for Franchisees.
  • Define strategy for lens portfolio including pricing and proper utilization of lenses by Franchisees.
  • Provide guidance, materials, and support to field leaders to drive adoption, sell-in, and sell-through.

Supply Chain

  • Manage relationships with lens and Rx manufacturing partners to strategically build and maintain Pearle Vision lens and lab supply chain to maximize profitability for Franchisees and Pearle Vision.
  • Develop, direct, and partner on the end-to-end supply chain strategy, planning, and execution to meet the primary goal of fulfilling and delivering to Franchisees.
  • Analyze data to understand demand, create action plans, and develop support materials to maximize use of EssilorLuxottica supply chain.

Leadership

  • Lead a high performing team, developing soft skills, functional depth and breadth, and industry acumen.
  • Build consensus with key stakeholders on initiatives, strategies, and tactics.
  • Manage key relationships with internal cross functional partners, outside vendors, and Franchisees.
  • Collaborate with field teams to deliver a high service level and achieve financial targets.
  • Demonstrate and deliver on Pearle Vision’s Franchise value proposition.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Wholesale and/or Franchise business.
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with everyday tactical detail and a strong urge for action.
  • Ablity to promote ideas persuasively, win acceptance for new initiatives, negotiate skillfully

Pay Range: 194,008.12 - 292,627.20

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
