We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Business Development to lead and drive our business expansion efforts within the Business-to-Business (B2B) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic initiatives that will enhance our client portfolio, foster strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and implement the overall business development strategy and roadmaps for the B2B segment, aligning with the company's short-term and long-term goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and niches for growth, and create actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, industry leaders, and potential clients to enhance business opportunities and collaborations.
  • Lead the negotiation and closure of strategic deals, contracts, and partnerships that drive revenue and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities, adapting the business development strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and clients, utilizing data-driven insights to track progress and forecast future business performance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive leadership team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for the B2B business development function.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of proven experience in business development or strategic partnership roles within the B2B sector.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience in outside sales or B2B and/or B2C sales within the safety footwear, uniform, and apparel industries.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex business models, industry dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining successful relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data and insights to drive informed decisions.
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams and inspiring a high-performance culture.
  • Proficiency in utilizing software and sales tools for managing leads and opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating ideas and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

What Really Excites Us

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development or strategic partnership roles within the B2B sector in the footwear/apparel industry.
  • Prior experience in the eCommerce industry.

The expected base pay for this position is $200,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, a full range of medical and other benefits is offered.
