This position will initially be a work from home position. If COVID restrictions are lifted this candidate may need to report to the Harrisburg office as requested. Can the candidate comply?
The contractor will be required to report to Harrisburg, PA at the start of their contract to receive Commonwealth issued equipment if accepted. Can the candidate comply?
Technical Architecture Specialist TAS2 A4 SC3
The work involves application development on the client's web based Licensing, Certification and Inspection system. The project will include adding functional enhancements to a number of areas, implementing online application processing, building additional reporting functionality, and refactoring existing data and object models to bring the data and code into alignment with existing standards.
Expertise/experience Needed:
Solid foundation and understanding of object oriented programing
Solid experience in ASP.NET VB and C#
Solid experience in database T-SQL coding in SQL Server
Solid experience in analysis of existing data structures and data model refactoring based on results of analysis.
Experience in coding data migration/conversion scripts
Experience working with MS TFS.
Experience working with MS Visual Studio in an enterprise environment
Experience building reports and validating data to insure accuracy
Experience translating sometimes vague requirements into functional data and coding models
