YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Accountant for Zegna, you will play a key role within the Finance group and works with the Finance staff and report to the Controller.

Howy You Will Contribute

• Month- and Quarter-end Close: Take a leading role in executing the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, posting and reviewing journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statement submission to parent company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Internal Controls: Establish, improve upon, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure SOX compliance.
• Staff Development: Coach and develop accounting associates.
• Audit Support: Serve as a point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency, implementing improvements as appropriate.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to support financial needs and provide insights to drive business decisions.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, leveraging financial expertise to contribute to the company's strategic objectives
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of related experience; CPA and Big 4 experience are a plus.
• Strong computer skills; SAP experience a plus
• Ability to manage and organize large amounts of information with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and concurrent tasks while remaining results and deadline driven.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively across departmental functions
• The hiring range for this position ranges from $100,000-$110,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
