Sr. Account Executive

The Senior Account Executive at 215 McCann makes things happen. You are a direct link between the agency and our clients, managing day-to-day affairs and ensuring client satisfaction. You are passionate about advertising and marketing, and have a knack for managing multiple projects, from start to finish, earning the confidence of internal team members and clients alike. You’re innately curious about business and people, and have an instinctive knack for understanding and articulating strategy, objectives, and results. You understand the value of collaboration and simply want to do great work with some of the most talented people around.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Exhibit multi-tasking abilities, especially under tight presentation and/or production deadlines
  • Develop and lead effective working relationships with clients as well as internal team members
  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and be conversant in each client’s business, including business model basics, key issues, and competitive landscape
  • Lead projects from inception through completion, including strategic and creative development, production, and global distribution while meeting challenges for on-time and on-budget delivery of the highest quality creative product
  • Be an active participant in client and internal meetings, being able to clearly and concisely recommend ideas
  • Demonstrate solid production experience, including video and digital
  • Demonstrate a passion for creative-driven advertising with a track record of developing integrated campaigns
  • Encourage and inspire fresh, original thinking from the agency and collaborate with client partners to do the same
  • Exhibit a knowledge and passion for strategic, cutting edge and innovative marketing solutions
  • Work on the development of strategies for consumer brands or product launches
  • Collaborate with Account Planners to develop strategic recommendations, creative briefs and research plans
  • Demonstrate knowledge of media strategy development & planning

Required Skills

  • Four to six years’ marketing experience (i.e. advertising agencies, brand consultancies, digital firms, client-side etc.)
  • Resourceful, collaborative team player
  • Great communicator and writer
  • Relationship builder and strong manager with clients and internal team alike
  • Project driver, solid experience on integrated campaigns with both digital and film content
  • Ability to think big picture, while still being detail oriented
