The focus of this role will be assessing, managing, improving, and migrating customers’ on-premises SharePoint and SharePoint Online Environments.

Education

A successful candidate will have recent, hands-on experience (Design, Installation, Configuration, Management & Troubleshooting) with SharePoint environments supporting higher education institutions, including:

• Expertise in planning, implementation, and support of:
• Authentication
• Farm Topology
• Web Applications
• Site Collections
• Sites Management
• Branding & Theme
• Custom Solutions
• Backup and Recovery,
• SSPs & Service Applications
• User Profile Services
• Windows Server Operating Systems
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Working knowledge of supporting Infrastructure and concepts
• IP Addressing
• DNS
• Certificate Management
• Security
• Active Directory
• Identity Provider Configuration
  

Typical Assignments Include

• Proactive & operational maintenance of on-premises SharePoint Farm, databases, and the underlying Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Troubleshooting performance, user experience and functional issues.
• Assessing and managing improvements of existing SharePoint Environments.
• Migration of site structure and/or content from one SharePoint environment to another.
• Architecting new SharePoint Farms according to best practices
• Architecting new SharePoint Online environments according to best practices
• Designing for high availability and security
• Adding or Removing Ellucian Portal Integrations
• Adding or removing 3rd party integrations
• Single Sign on integrations (e.g. ADFS, Azure SSO, Okta)
• Designing or integrating forms and form solutions.
