Senior Windows Administrator

Title: Sr Windows Administrator

Location: 100 Farmers Bank Sq Str 300, Georgetown KY 40324 (hybrid onsite schedule)

Duration: 6–9-month Contract to Hire

Pay: $45-60/hr.

Perm conversion: $100-120k

Desired Skills & Experience:

- 5+ yrs of Windows Server administration exp (2012/R2 through current versions)

- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD (Entra), Exchange Online, PowerShell scripting, etc.

- Working knowledge fo TCP/IP and DNS

- Experience with on premise, virtual and cloud environments

Plusses:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT

- Microsoft certifications

- Experience with any of the following: Linux, MS-SQL, SharePoint, and ISS

- Knowledge of SANs, high availability, and disaster recovery techniques

Day to Day:

We are currently seeking a Sr Windows Administrator for a contract to hire opportunity based out of the greater Lexington KY area. This Windows Administrator will be joining a growing IT team and would be expected to work a hybrid schedule. The main responsibility in this role will be oversee everything in the Windows Server environment including managing, troubleshooting, implementing enhancements, recommend upgrades, project planning, identify areas to improve the environment etc. Additionally, it will be this person’s responsibility to handle/oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, and automation scripting.
