Our client is a rapidly growing, financially sound provider of information technology, data, and management consulting services to the federal government.


Summary

We are recruiting for a Senior VP of Technology. In this role you will be responsible for building trust and confidence with clients, partners, and technologists to position the company for sustained growth. You will be responsible for leading/driving the technical direction across all non-human capital-related IT programs, leading the rollout/expansion of platform partnerships, developing innovative solutions for customers, and guiding Communities of Practice.

Compensation

Compensation is highly lucrative, consisting of an annual base salary + generous bonus/commission structure + full benefits.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead/Drive Technical direction across IT programs.
  • Meet/build relationships with customer IT executives to understand priorities and pain points.
  • Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluating, developing, and deploying all technical services across IT programs.
  • Develop and monitor KPI’s for each technical program initiative and ensure alignment with IT objectives.
  • Development and management of Technical In-Take (Contract Kick-off) process, insertion of accelerators, insights, solutions, and development of Technical Roadmaps across the Customer Base.
  • Manage technical leads across major IT programs.
  • Serve as a technological thought leader, representing at conferences and networking events- including technology content in trade publications and the blogosphere.
  • Consistently evaluate the "state of the art" for technical efficiency of processes and toolsets to recommend changes to facilitate ease of use for employees and clients.
  • Assist in developing job requisitions, evaluating candidates, and making hiring decisions for technical resources.
  • Lead rollout/expansion of platform partnerships (non-Human Capital).
  • Work with platform partners and CSO to develop a growth strategy around each platform.
  • Work with the Platform team, Growth Team, and Delivery Leads to implement each platform-centric growth strategy.
  • Develop Innovative solutions for customer growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Growth, Innovation, Customer Experience, and Operations, to achieve company growth and operational metrics.
  • Lead and review technical solutions across bids, proposals, ROMs, RFIs, and RFQs. This includes representation in oral presentations as needed.
  • Conduct research and case studies on leading-edge technologies and determines the probability of entrance into the market space.
  • Identify competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of Verticals and Horizontals.
  • IR&D
  • Create an IR&D investment plan geared toward establishing our client and proprietary intellectual property leveraging Human Capital and Data Capabilities.
  • Collaborate with EC and ELT on IR&D lines of effort and executes R&D projects to increase market reach.


Education, Skills, and Experience

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a technologist or Organizational-Wide Enterprise Architect.
  • 10 or more years of related technical experience in IT infrastructure and professional services.
  • Experience in communication with Government personnel, including agency executives.
  • Track record of leading technology teams, fostering innovation, and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, infrastructure, and architecture.
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
  • Understanding of budgets and business planning.
  • Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
