About The Role
As a Vice President of Operations at our vibrant multi-state enterprise, you will lead strategic growth and operational excellence. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and being an integral part of the executive team, you will drive profitability, productivity, and efficiency in our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to boost sales growth and maximize EBITDA.
Performance Metrics: Implement and uphold Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for informed decision-making.
Workforce Management: Create innovative models to optimize labor resources and achieve budget goals.
Collaboration: Coordinate with department heads to align operational priorities with company objectives.
Leadership: Mentor Regional Managers in driving effective operational systems.
Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety, and environmental regulations.
Store Operations: Oversee store inspections and provide recommendations for enhancements.
Market Analysis: Evaluate market potential and propose new store locations.
Customer Relations: Address inquiries and resolve issues to uphold positive customer relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage a team of District Managers across various retail locations.
Required Competencies
Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and integrity.
Data Analysis: Possess technical proficiency in data analysis and development.
Communication: Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills.
Retail Expertise: Encompass a deep understanding of retail business and financial acumen.
Collaboration: Effectively collaborate, promote diversity, and inclusion.
Project Management: Demonstrate experience in project management and organization.
Required Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in senior managerial roles.
Physical Demands
Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable with standing, walking, reaching, and occasional sitting.
Work Environment
Moderate noise level with occasional exposure to moving parts and outside weather conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work/Travel
Full-time role with occasional travel (50-75%).
Salary Range
Competitive salary based on experience.
