Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager

We are looking for candidates who have extensive experience in design of most types of buildings and structures utilizing all types of construction materials including concrete, steel, masonry and wood (basic fundamentals of wood design as a minimum). Responsibilities

• Lead in the direction, planning, organization, control, and completion of multiple projects.
• Organize and plan for project staffing and scheduling according to project requirements.
• Effectively communicate with clients to address project requirements and to provide advice.
• Strong technical background with the ability to perform and oversee analysis and design for all types of buildings and materials.
• Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and drafting staff.
• Quality control and preparation of contract documents.
• Understand and track financial information related to the project.
• Excellent writing skills for report writing.
• Excellent oral skills for presenting to clients and other discipline’s design team members.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing various structural engineering projects.
• Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred; undergraduate degree is required.
• Professional Civil Engineer license: Structural Engineer license is preferred.
• Experience with SE software: Excel, ETABS, SAP, Risa, Revit, AutoCad, MS Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in an articulate and accessible manner.
