Senior Software Engineer – Series A $100m+ Funding - 1st Business Automation Architect

You’re going to be getting in at the early stage here, being the first software engineer focusing purely on business automations, in an IC role where you’ll see the impact of your work every single day. Automation is at the heart of the business, so you’ll have encouragement from the majority of those around you.

Along with building out the solutions, you’ll be given a lot of strategic freedom to produce ideas for the best way to automate various business workflows across various departments. As a pretty new business, it’s almost a blank canvas for you to work on across different departments from business ops to IT to sales and marketing.

It’s a position with great variety and there’ll be a huge amount for you to learn along the way too. You’ll implement and integrate a range of internal services into an infrastructure that’s designed for the long-term existence of the business by building scalable and management solutions.

Because of the nature of the position, it’s highly preferred you’ve worked in an early-stage start-up in a similar business systems/business workflow type software engineering position. You’ll need to have strong Python or Go development experience, or any other OO language, with a willingness to use these two.

You’ll be working on a cloud-native SaaS platform, so you’re going to need prior experience with cloud platforms and things like Kubernetes and Terraform. That said, the key aspects are automating business workflows. Specifically with Salesforce, Stripe, Snowflake and Tableau. Other platforms like Hubspot, Docusign, Zendesk & Google Cloud Billing would be a huge plus.

Starting salary will be in the range of $175,000-225,000 plus equity. You’ll also be entitled to a comprehensive benefits package including full healthcare and 401k contributions.

This is a Series A with over $100m of PE investment with the plan to grow and quickly scale this year. You’ll be given autonomy to implement your ideas and your work will help with the efficient growth of the business.
