Position Summary
The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for supporting various clinical research, project management, and writing activities to help advance the mission. The Senior Research Analyst will be a key member of West Health Institute’s Chronic Care team working directly with our public and private sector partners, including hospitals, professional societies, and academic, non-profit, and government institutions to educate, develop, implement, and evaluate the impact of innovative models of Chronic Care and behavioral health care on clinical and financial outcomes.
The Senior Research Analyst must work seamlessly across strategic, substantive, and administrative aspects of the role. This role will contribute to, monitor, and manage multiple projects’ communications, contracts, timelines and deliverables.
The Senior Research Analyst must have strong knowledge of behavioral health care. This expertise will be used to contribute to, and advance, the team’s thinking and strategies. The Senior Research Analyst will also use this expertise to provide dissemination support across a variety of types of publication types and for a variety of audiences. Products may include: PowerPoint presentations, manuscripts for peer-review, white papers, short primers on behavioral health, clinical implementation guides and toolkits, and, research and partnership proposals. The Senior Research Analyst will also provide data collection, data analysis and other research support as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
The estimated compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Develop and maintain expertise in the behavioral health landscape including the latest behavioral health research, behavioral health models and approaches, behavioral health financing mechanisms, and payer engagement in the behavioral health space
- Use project management tools and capabilities to track, manage, and report the status of deliverables across multiple work streams and multiple internal staff and external partners
- Support contract management activities
- Support research-related data security and compliance activities
- Create professional presentations
- Quickly and skillfully write documents on behavioral health for public consumption
- Conduct analyses to gain insights into expectations, needs, motivation, and best practices of key stakeholders as needed
- Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field
- Ability to manage research operations using project management tools and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to write professionally
- Demonstrated strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to design and carry-out statistical analyses using common statistical software
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of current behavioral health care ecosystem market dynamics and trends (preferred)
- Experience in a clinical setting (delivering behavioral health services, preferred)
The estimated compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000.
