We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sr. Recruiter. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of sourcing, screening, and selecting exceptional clinicians and team members to meet the growing needs of our organization. The ideal candidate is someone who thinks creatively on how to attract talent, is passionate about the candidate experience, has a strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in recruiting top talent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Recruit qualified healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff
  • Identify and use various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, professional associations, academic relationships, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates
  • Partner with the Blackbird Leadership Team to define the candidate experience that uniquely positions Blackbird relative to other firms competing for talent
  • Screen resumes accordingly and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for open positions
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Negotiate job offers and facilitate the hiring process, including drafting employment contracts and onboarding new hires
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and industry organizations to expand the talent pipeline
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adjust recruiting strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment plans
  • Understand the culture and environment, the market, the services provided, the strategic direction of Blackbird and the specifics surrounding each open position
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases
  • Assist with building Blackbird’s reputation as an employer of choice by connecting with selected sourcing and recruiting channels through recruitment branding, community visibility, networking, corporate events, social media presence, etc

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4-7 years of clinical (direct patient care) recruitment experience, or experience in clinical recruitment operations HR, or business operations
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruitment events, conferences and job fairs

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of the clinical healthcare environment and key roles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software, ATS, and other HR tools
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to think creatively about how to attract talent
  • Passionate about the candidate's experience
  • The target range for this position is $110,000-$130,000. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
