Senior Project Manager

Optomi, in partnership with a non-profit healthcare organization, is seeking a senior level Project Manager for a hybrid position 3X a week in Irving, TX! This Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for determining user demands, establishing work priorities and plans; directs and monitors project work. They will be following PMO methodology, processes to lead and manage projects end to end. In addition, this Project Manager will support Information System related business planning requirements including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, and workload planning.

Experience of the right candidate:

• Epic experience or any other EHR systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant experience in an Information Systems environment required.
• Working experience in large multi-hospital system is preferred.
• Clinical project implementation and management is required, Epic or Meditech specific experience is preferred.
• Previous experience managing projects of small to medium scope and complexity.
• Must have six years previous experience working on information technology project teams and in obtaining customer requirements and other analysis activities.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Follow PMO methodology, processes to lead and manage projects end to end.
• Responsible for creating and managing project scope, resource and budget.
• Responsible to manage multiple large size projects.
• Responsible for mentoring and providing oversight to projects managed by junior members of the team.
• Responsible for analyzing, understanding business requirements, vendor statement of works and other form of requirement documents to clearly outline project artifacts.
