Senior Project Coordinator
Summary: The Marketing Senior Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the National Marketing Department by undertaking diverse tasks. They collaborate closely with project managers to develop comprehensive action plans, encompassing resource allocation, budgeting, and project timelines.
Work Hours:Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $27 to $30 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $65,800 and $68,800 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
- Supports the Marketing Project Manager.
- Ensures that all standards are met, and procedures are followed by the project team.
- Verifies that projects have implemented standards, work methods, and processes.
- Recommends procedural changes to improve efficiency.
- Supports the training of members of the merchandising team in current and upcoming projects.
- Creates, updates, and maintains information on our internal Merchandising Portal.
- Develops, reviews, and analyzes various reports that support and help grow the business.
- Manages multiple projects at once in the areas of display, sampling, and merchandising.
- Works closely with our Product teams and National marketing team to develop ways to grow sales in our various product categories to the Retail business channel.
- Creates and executes the shipments of materials to various store/branch meetings and various trade shows.
- Collaborates with the warehouse on in-person quality checks of incoming shipments.
- Occasionally visits branches and off-site meetings to support and promote sales to the Retailer vendor channel. Availability to attend in-person meetings for vendor visits to our local branch.
- Travels 10% locally.
- Position requires the candidate to be available to attend in-office solutions meetings with the warehouse and collaborate effectively with our internal and external business partners.
- Participates in project design meetings and proposes improvements if necessary.
- Evaluates potential problems and technical hitches and develops solutions.
- Plans and manages team goals, project schedules, and new information.
- Supervises the team’s current projects and coordinates all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Manages project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Directs project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails.
- Communicates with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Adheres to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- College Degree in a related field Business Administration/ Marketing/ Communication/Project Management is required.
- Three (3) plus years of Project Management experience.
- Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project management.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with demanding deadlines.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
