Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Arkansas (Hybrid)

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Network Engineer with my client, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimization of their enterprise network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the following:

- Leading the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions to support business growth and evolving technology requirements.

- Designing and configuring complex network solutions, including routing, switching, wireless, and security technologies.

- Performing network assessments, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and develop solutions that align with business goals.

- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, helping to mentor and develop their skills.

- Contributing to the development of network architecture standards and best practices to ensure a secure and resilient network environment.

- Staying current on emerging network technologies and trends, and making recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

- Participating in on-call rotation and providing support for network-related incidents outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level networks.

- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices.

- Experience with Palo Alto or other leading firewall technologies.

- Proficiency in MPLS, BGP, and other networking protocols.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
