Senior Manufacturing Engineer (US Citizens only)

Looking for a U.S. citizen Manufacturing Engineer, able to obtain clearance upon request.

Job Description: As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in creating and maintaining technical work instructions for the production of aerospace composite components. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll lead root cause analysis activities, implement process improvements, and drive change initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical work instructions for the manufacturing of aerospace composite components.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations groups to ensure adherence to safety, cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Support Purchasing and Business Development functions in quoting processes.
• Provide training and guidance to operators and other engineers.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new product introductions.
• Assess and initiate component repairs.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Actively support Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) and Quality System policies to ensure a safe work environment and quality product delivery.
  
  

Pay Range: $90,000 to $120,000 per year

Position Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or HS Diploma/GED with relevant aerospace manufacturing/repair experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience in manufacturing aerospace composites.
• Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing methods for complex composite components.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and interpretation of GD&T.
• Change Management skills with demonstrated leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of process change implementation.
• Strategic thinking ability with tactical implementation skills for engineering change initiatives.
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset with strong multitasking and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
