Allergan Data Labs is on a mission to transform the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at AbbVie, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Our iconic brands include BOTOX® Cosmetic, CoolSculpting®, JUVÉDERM® and more. The medical aesthetics business is ripe for rapid growth and disruption, and we are looking to add to our high performing team to do just that.

Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences and had millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey.

As a Senior Manager, Strategy, you will report to the Associate Director of Technology Strategy in collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business to help guide our strategy focused on aesthetics, consumers, and beauty service providers (providers).

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and/or conduct market research to identify service/product gaps, market trends/patterns, and articulate market opportunities
  • Develop comprehensive, data-backed assessments and business cases to validate and prioritize strategic initiatives
  • Create dashboards to monitor product performance against key results on a consistent basis
  • Build and analyze datasets for revenue model forecasts and product optimizations
  • Conduct detailed analysis of revenue streams and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed
  • Build relationships across the business and partner with Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Go to Market teams to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Contribute to our business growth strategy using action-oriented, data driven decision-making processes
  • Pose questions, find the data, and conduct analysis to create growth initiatives that lead to measurable business outcomes
  • Exhibit thought leadership by authoring documents and decks related to industry/technology trends, competitive landscape, and market insights
  • Define, analyze, assess and/or perform Total Available Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) assessments for future business opportunities

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years OR MBA and 6+ years of experience building strategy across product, marketing, sales and management consulting
  • Strong track record in breaking down complex business problems and synthesizing multiple disparate sources of information into actionable insights

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Proficiency in analytical tools including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Mixpanel, Tableau
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, understand technical and nontechnical topics and drive effective decision making amid varying points of views
  • Business knowledge in areas of product management, software sales, and customer success
