Senior Manager Mechanical Engineering

We are working on behalf of a leading maker of RF components and Test Equipment for wireless and defense markets. We are looking for a Senior Manager, for RF Test Solutions Engineering.

The Senior Manager runs a group of 10 Engineers and techs, with focus on Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, for design and manufacture of custom and semi-custom test equipment.

The test boxes measure RF signal strength and fade in wireless devices. Key customers are Verizon, Apple, T-Mobile. This individual will be hands on, and lead group that integrates RF components and cables into relatively small test boxes, and will manage the group.

• We need a BS or higher degree, with 10 to 15+ years of Mechanical design at the PCB, board and box level, leading to 3-5 years of management.
• We also need some RF technical knowledge, must have strong experience using Mechanical CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS, and prefer some RF test experience as well.
