The Role


Barrows is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Partnership & Growth to support the front end of our core business with a focus on our clients in the Alcoholic Beverage segment. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a trusted relationship with the client and supporting a spirit of partnership.This role will be proactive in learning about the client’s business needs and company culture, educating the project team, identifying new business opportunities, and providing a high level of service in managing and building deep, sustainable client relationships.


The ideal candidate will have experience in shopper marketing, account management, and planning. The focus of this role is to grow and maintain the existing client relationship. The Senior Manager, Client Partnership & Growth will be responsible for driving profitable growth for the business and will be an integral part of our Client Partnerships team.


Responsibilities


  • Manage creative projects and be the key liaison between clients, strategy and design teams. In these cases, you will be responsible for clearly defining the project scope, managing the timeline, and ensuring ongoing communication among all parties
  • Serve as main point of contact for clients and manage their project needs, from initial brief to implementation within the studio to final reveal
  • Proactively anticipate both internal needs and client needs to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects
  • Passion for brands and the environment in which they operate to contribute to briefs and deliver great work
  • Develop the skill to convert research information to shopper marketing ideas that are right for your brands
  • Champion outstanding collaboration between departments to get to better work
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions with a mind to innovation
  • Responsible for the highest quality of creative briefs
  • Proactively problem solve with oversight from manager and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Collaborate well with internal agency teams and external agency partners to drive integrated programs
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as: effectively proofing own and others’ work to ensure accuracy
  • Actively and effectively manage timelines, resourcing, budgets, and deliverables and internal platforms of multiple projects simultaneously


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing agency, retailer, Alc Bev Brand, or digital company
  • Shopper/retail experience preferred
  • Experience with brand and trade activations
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with hunger for growth
  • Excited about working in a startup environment
  • All-hands-on-deck mentality
  • Comfortable working with and presenting to clients; strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and decisive; driven and logical thinker
  • Lead by example and perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Computer literate, administratively strong, attention to detail, accountable
  • Proven track record of building revenue in a retail marketing environment
