Senior Manager, Business Intelligence

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the Red Bulls CRM and Data systems and team. This position will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the Red Bulls business tech stack and fan data, as well as lead the evaluation and presentation of data analysis to create actionable insights to drive revenue.

Act as a strategic business partner to the New York Red Bulls business leaders (ticketing, marketing, partnerships, etc), proactively delivering business and audience insights Develop and implement strategies and best practices for data collection and analysis, with an emphasis on data sourcing, data visualization, statistical analysis, insight generation, database querying, and implementing new vendors (where applicable) Own the overall Red Bulls data and analytics program, collaborating with IT to manage the relationship with our data warehouse, CRM, and survey providers as well as evaluate other relevant analytic vendors Serve as a hands-on manager by leading a CRM Coordinator, fostering their growth Create dashboards and perform analysis to support data-driven decision making in the Ticket Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Red Bull Arena Events and various other RBNY departments Utilize data insights to identify trends and opportunities for optimization across various sales and marketing channels Automate reports and provide custom reports and metrics to senior leaders across various departments Create custom and proprietary models for to identify and create revenue generating opportunities Collaborate on ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Data Science
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Business Analytics or Intelligence, preferably in professional sports and/or ticketing
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and ticketing systems preferred
  • Highly skilled with data manipulation, database modeling, and computer applications including SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with statistical software and programming languages such as Python and R is a plus
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including games on nights, weekends, and holidays

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company. Work Schedule is hybrid: M/F work from home, T-Thurs in office at Red Bull Arena, with responsibilities on event days (i.e. MLS home matches – Saturdays afternoon/evenings)
