Job Descrption
- Complete human factors engineering projects independently with minimal oversight.
- Conduct ethnographic user research to understand user needs.
- Translate user needs into requirements and product design concepts.
- Develop prototypes to validate product design concepts.
- Perform workflow, task, and use error analyses.
- Develop user-facing instructions.
- Conduct formative and summative usability testing.
- Participate in development program teams to ensure human factors principles are implemented.
- Provide input to the risk management process.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Support company initiatives and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with FDA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain positive communication with stakeholders.
- Required qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in human factors engineering or related field, 5+ years of R&D experience, general knowledge of relevant disciplines.
- Preferred qualifications: Master’s Degree, experience with Class III implantable medical devices, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
